Summer Intermediate Writing Class
Instructor: Justin Fetterman
Intermediate Writing is a summer course for students entering grades 7-10 and preparing to take the SSAT, PSAT, or Johns Hopkins tests, or who want to develop their expository skills in general. Course work will cover grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, essay construction, and creative writing. Sessions will include brief lecture, exercises, writing projects, and language games. In this six-week summer session, the goal is not only skill improvement, but also identification of strengths and weaknesses with direction for future study. Intermediate Writing provides a well-rounded education to balance out the comprehension focus of school assigned summer reading lists.
Class will meet from 4:30-7:30 on Monday and Wednesday.
The cost is $720.
